Robert John Downey, Jr. (lahir di New York City, New York, Amerika Serikat, 4 April 1965; umur 50 tahun) merupakan seorang aktor dan penyanyi berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat yang memenangkan Academy Award dan Golden Globe. Berkarier di dunia film sejak tahun 1970.
Film barunya meliputi The Singing Detective, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, A Scanner Darkly, Gothika, Zodiac, dan Tropic Thunder. Pada tahun 2008, Downey memainkan peran pahlawan super Marvel yaitu Iron Man.
